Can't find "preferences" anywhere

Postby aviad173 » 16 Jun 2014 20:54

I'm not that "Technologically Challenged", but I'm breaking my brains trying to figure out where is the preferences and/or other menus.
I'm a new Mac user, so maybe that's my problem, but the only "menu" I have is the "Library" and that's all.
What am I missing ???

Please HELP

Preferences is found in VLC menu > Preferences. Alternatively, you can invoke the key combination of command + comma (command,) to open it.

If you've never experienced a Mac versus other platforms before, Mac's have a common menu bar that is always at the top of the screen and not duplicated in individual application windows. When you're in an Application, the Application name will appear as the first menu after the Apple icon on the left. Preferences are found under the Application named menu. So as was noted, you'll see VLC at the upper left in the menubar.
