(This is my first post here, so I need to mention that VLC is a great program, and I use it regularly now. If I ever run into a video or audio format I can't play properly, VLC handles it flawlessly. Major kudo's to the team behind it!)
Now here's the feature request:
I'm listening to an Internet radio broadcast (aacPlus, I think), and the Info (Properties) window is very sparse. I'm trying to figure out what bit rate I'm listening to, but I can't find this information anywhere.
The only information it gives is Codec (mp4a), Language, Channels (2), Type (Audio), and sample rate (22khz).
I'd really love to see some more information there. Bit rate would be great (I consider it a necessity). Also it'd be good to list sample depth (8 or 16 bit), codec profile (LE-AAC, HE-AAC, etc). I'm sure there's more information people would like to see there.
Any idea on if this will make it into an upcoming release?
