Problems access Nullriver Medialink UPnP server

I can't seem to get VLC 2.0.6 to work with Nullriver Medialink UPnP server. Anyone got this working?

VLC shows it in the Local Network > Universal Plug'n'Play list with a yellow triangle. When I double click it freezes and then crashes.

I have added VLC to the firewall list in OSX to allow incoming connections.
