Is full screen size and positon adjustible (for overscan)?

Postby VoidJim » 27 Aug 2005 03:18

I have a main monitor and a Sony 60" TV hooked up to my G5 via DVI. I use the TV mainly for watching videos via VLC. I've been able to set it so full screen always goes to the TV monitor, but the TV has 4-5% overscan (and I've adjusted it to minimize the overscan without affecitng the other inputs).

Is there a way to get VLC to use a particular size and position when showing full screen video? Or add a border of a certain number of pixels?
I've checked out all the advanced preferences and tried changign some of the obvious ones to do this, but haven't been able to do anythign yet.

THanks.
