Double size required to fill screen?

Postby dfiler » 20 Jul 2012 22:09

Version 2 has been torturous. Besides GUI and volume control hassles, the biggest annoyance is getting video to fill the window.

What I'd like to accomplish is to preserve the correct aspect ratio yet always have video fill the window (or screen when in full screen mode). Unfortunately the fit to screen option does not work. What i've resorted to is setting videos to double size when in full screen mode. This results in correct playback. For windowed mode, I've yet to find a solution.

Is there a solution?

Trashing the preferences files has worked for other's with that same issue.

~/Library/Preferences/org.videolan.vlc/

Thank you so much! That fixed the problem.
