VLC 2.0.2 Blank screen

Postby Chema » 15 Jul 2012 02:37

Hi, im new inthe forums, and my english skills aren´t ..... good  sorry for this and beer for all!

In VLC 2.0.2, when open the video effects window, and in Basic tab check Image adjust the screen turn to solid blank color, there is no error, the sound and repreduction continues.... Unselecting the option all its ok again. The rest of the options in right part of this tab wors ok. Is the unique function thats not work ok for me, its not a important thing!... and i supose i have something misconfigured in other option. If anyone knows how to solve it, or any workaround for thus issue i’ll be very happy, if not... also!!! its a great product!

Best regards!

Hi again, in this moment i found a work around:
The first time you check the image adjust all its ok, the blank sceen appears when after check the brihgt controls, you unchek the image adjust and check it again with the bright controls checked, in this moment the screen change to blank until you unselect the bright control and turn off and on again the image controls.
The efect is the same that if you put the gamma level too high!

Regards!

The same issue occurs when you play with the video post process levels having the basic image adjust checked, if unmark it, you can select video post process and then activate again image adjust with no problems.

Regards

(sorry for my auto answers, i am new with VLC and i´m using all the options. I´m sure that in an incorrect way.... i´ll read the help before ask again :( ).
