hello,

I'm recently experiencing a very strange problem with VLC082. the output of my videos (.avi, mpg or even DVD etc..) are all splitted in 2 sames images, and the colors are distorted (rose)...

I really dont' know where the problem come from... I reinstalled both quicktime 652 and VLC082... it still fails...

does anyone has ever experienced this ? what shall I do ?

Try to reset your preferences. Delete both org.videolan.vlc.plist and a folder called "VLC" in your preferences-folder (~/Library/Preferences).

Hello Fkuehne,

I already tried this, it doesn't fixed the problem.

My .mpg videos works fine with QuicktimePlayer, but not with VLC. Maybe VLC is using a codec stored somewhere on my system that is obsolete...

I even tried to repair the permissions (who knows..) same results... KO

I'm really awaiting 4 someone to fix this matter
