snapshots not working in v2.0.1 mac?

Hi all,
I"m not sure if this has already been mentioned; apologies if it has.
When using the new v2.0.1 for mac vlc version, I get this message:
Streaming/transcoding failed. Could not open the encoder.
I see that this was a bug in the windows version that was fixed with the 2.0.2 release, but that doesn't seem to have happened yet in the Mac version. Is that expected anytime soon?

Please set video snapshots format to png in the preferences -> Video.
