VLC Audio

Postby ballybrit » 18 Apr 2012 20:10

I have just uploaded new VLC version. Interface is different. Where is the speed control on panel? I need to listen to files and change speed of speech. Control panel looks very bare compared to old one.

Also, when I double-click on my file to open it in VLC it starts to play immediately. I would prefer to manually control this by hitting start button. How can I do this? I presume there is no longer a Pause button?

Assuming you are using the Mac version, you can find the speed slider in the "Playback" menu.

To change the playback behavior, go to VLC's preferences, click on "Show All" on the bottom left, choose "Playlist" on the left hand side and disable "Auto Start" on the right. Save the preferences and restart VLC.
