DVD->VLC->Quicktime/iMovie???
DVD->VLC->Quicktime/iMovie???
I have a DVD (no audio) that I would like to shorten. I have tried converting it to Quicktime using VLC, but I get a notice when dragging the new file to iMovie to edit that either "it is not a movie file" or "that Quicktime could not parse". What specifications do I need to make when converting? Or can I shorten the video in VLC or iDVD?

Sounds like you downloaded the 64bit version instead of the 32bit version. Note there are two types of Mac OS X downloads for HandBrake: 32bit and 64bit.thanks. but, OSX downloads are not working ("architecture not supported...")
