Compiling VLC with Xcode 4

Hi

have anyone compiled VLC in Xcode 4?

Actually I use Xcode 3.2.6 and I think upgrade to Xcode 4 but I made a little test and I receive the following error in the bootstrap command

Code: Select all

/lib/cpp not found

What version of Xcode are you using. I'm using 4.1 and I don't have this problem. I remember have this problem in 4.2 Beta 3.

I read Wiki and I can compile VLC 1.1 branch with Xcode 4.
But I cannot compile VLC 1.2 trunk. Is there any trick to compile with Xcode 4?

I compile trunk with Xcode 4.x since early this year, so this definitely works. Please provide terminal output so we can help you.

I can now compile trunk with Xcode 4.1 and I can run vlc-1.2.0-git on my MacBook Air!
