Iphone 4 - file sharing not showing VLC player!

Hi there,
I've searched all over google and I cannot find anyone with a geniune case like mine.
I've bought the VLC player, and I was hoping to transfer some videos to my iphone 4. But the problem is under the file sharing area, it doesn't show the VLC icon. The typically problem is people are not scrolling down far enough, but in my case its just not listed.

I've remove the app and reinstalled it from my phone and mac with no luck of getting it to work.

Can anyone help?

When you start VLC on your iPhone, does it show a screen like this?

VLC is free and open source so doesn't/shouldn't cost anything.

Based on your screenshot you bought "VLC Remote", which AFAIK just allows you to use your iPhone as a remote control for VLC running on Windows/Mac OS X.

The official VLC app was removed from the App Store a few months ago (still available via Cydia if your iPhone's Jailbreaked I believe however).
