VLCKit latest build - compiled

Postby dropvox » 11 Feb 2011 12:39

Hello guys!

I'm trying to compile the latest version of VLCKit on Mac OS X. Reading some tutorials and even the wikipedia seems quite easy, but I've been trying it for weeks now and I can't get it working. Question is, Does anyone have a 64bits binary of the latest VLCKit? Or at least any successful guide I can follow?

Thanks in advance

Maybe a bit late, but the only way i could get it to build was to clone the current head and copy the /projects/macosx folder from there.
Then download the 1.1.7 tarball (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-sources.html) and paste the macosx folder in the /projects folder.

Then building VLCKit from the 1.1.7 tarball with default settings does actually build despite a lot of errors (assuming you're on 10.6 the default is 64 bit).

Hope that helps.
