Importing Songs to VLC from iTunes.

I just got a new Mac, and was a little disappointed to see that unlike on my old PC, I cannot just highlight some tracks in iTunes and drag them into my VLC playlist. Is there a way to do this on mac?

Is it possible to drag and drop from itune to another software (not VLC) ? If it's not possible for another software that's and itune bug.

Sounds like an iTunes bug. Dragging files from the Finder works nicely.
