MKV file help

Postby ilyasdesign » 16 Aug 2010 15:33

Gladiator (2000) Remastered 2in1 720p BluRay DTS x264-EbP

how do you watch this on VLC player if it is 2in1? meaning (Extended) and Theatrical) both version in one file, in which I'm finding hard to make it play on VLC

This is one MKV file which is 13.12GB

it doesn't work on my VLC player, please advise, really stuck on this

VLC version 1.0.5

many thanks

Also, what do you mean by "doesn't work"? Do you see separate video tracks listed in the video menu?
Providing logs, messages, configuration info (VLC, OS, Hardware) and a clear explanation of the issue always helps the problem solvers help you, even if they don't end up solving the issue. Just think what you would need if you were solving someone else's problem. Additional: Always looking for eager and capable MacOS X developers to join the VLC team - for more information see here.

Sorry the file doesn't even play when open for some reason, don't know why?

it only shows the loading bar on the interface then it stops

do I need to do a special setting on the VLC player?

Do you see anything in the VLC message window? Are you able to update to VLC 1.1.2?
