No audio using airfoil with my VLC..

Hi all first of all, thanks for all the help over the years with setting up my VLC with my airfoil! I have just done it a second time (as i have moved) and everything was just peachy until suddenly the audio will not play through airfoil anymore..just to elaborate..

I open airfoil, click on vlc and wait till it becomes active..
VLC then opens, i select the show and hit ok..
the show plays and there is no audio..I look at my airfoil and i see the volume bars are moving although there is no sound..

I restart everything and nothing changes..
i play the audio of vlc through my computer and there is sound..

I have googled this problem and have found no specific results to the problem, I am stuck.. can anyone help?

Have you contacted the Airfoil developers to see what they have to say? Also, for reference, what version of Airfoil, VLC and MacOS X (including Mac model)?

No wonder, since you have the volume turned all the way down!

nope..still not working



I originally thought that when i saw it but it wouldnt budge, opened airfoil again and its at max volume..
