VLC 1.1 Crash Log

Postby patddfan » 31 May 2010 02:50

Yesterday, VLC crashed. the last version never gave me any issues, so I'm wondering what is to blame for the crash? i noticed this note in the crash log:

*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'NSImageCell's object value must be an NSImage.'

please help! thanks

We will need more than that from the crash log. Although what you provide does indicate an error, the rest of the crash log will provide the developers the context in which the crash occurred.
Providing logs, messages, configuration info (VLC, OS, Hardware) and a clear explanation of the issue always helps the problem solvers help you, even if they don't end up solving the issue. Just think what you would need if you were solving someone else's problem. Additional: Always looking for eager and capable MacOS X developers to join the VLC team - for more information see here.
