Automatic Screencaps with VLC 1.0.2?

Postby timothy » 19 Oct 2009 19:41

Hi,

I recently tried to update my VLC player to version 1.0.2. I had a very old version before (0.8.6) which I used to take screencaps of videos. When I downloaded the new version I couldn't find a way to take the automatic screencaps anymore and I was wondering if it's just not possible or if I did something wrong.

I installed version 0.8.6 again because that is working fine for me but there's only one small problem with the image size of the screencaps. Does anybody know if I can use the double size function to get the them in a larger version?

Would be great if somebody could help me with my problems/questions.

Thanks

You need to use the scene filter now.

I know this might sound stupid but how do I do that?

Can't anybody tell how to use this scene-filter?

I guess I have to use the old version again.

Just saying you have to use scene filter is not helpful at all for us technically challenged people. Could you elaborate in detail on what exactly do we have to do?
