Problem VLC with display

Hello good, first I feel my form to write since not much English, in version 1.0.1, not exactly if it happens in others, when you have connected two monitors and the extended writing-desk, if I maximize for example a film in a monitor the other remains in black, and I cannot for example work while I put viedo, not if it is a failure or problem mine of configuration.

I have a Macbook Unibody, this error passes so much to me in Snow Leopard as in Leopard, thanks for its time

I'm having the same problem when my TV is hooked up to my MacBook. If I put the video in fullscreen on the TV the screen on my MacBook goes black except for the dock. Video on the TV is very choppy, but plays fine if I just use the MacBook's screen. I didn't have any of these issues until I updated to Snow Leopard.
