Subtitle size won't change

Postby dionysis » 02 May 2009 10:15

Hello.
I am viewing an .avi file with a .sub subtitle file. Through VLC I can change the subtitle font but not its size. I can only change the size by choosing "large" and "larger" from "Subtitles and OSD" > "Font size". But though the change from "normal" to "large" improves the subtitles' visibility, the change from "large" to "larger" is enormous! Only solution I have found is to use a font type that is more visible on its own (like "arial black"). Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Makesur you have the most current version of VLC for your platform and if this doesn't help try deleting the preferences.
Providing logs, messages, configuration info (VLC, OS, Hardware) and a clear explanation of the issue always helps the problem solvers help you, even if they don't end up solving the issue. Just think what you would need if you were solving someone else's problem. Additional: Always looking for eager and capable MacOS X developers to join the VLC team - for more information see here.
