Continuing play after hibernate

Postby Roxus » 30 Apr 2009 00:53

After downloading the latest VLC for MacOSX (0.9.9a) when my Mini comes out of hibernation, the audio from VLC can be heard, but the picture can't be seen. Mostly there is a black screen except for where the desktop shows around the outer edges. Killing and restarting is perfectly normal.
My prior version behaved as normal after hibernation, but I don't recall its version.
I believe my Mac OS is up-to-date as of this time, but it's not near me to check right now.

What effect does pausing and then clicking play again have?
Providing logs, messages, configuration info (VLC, OS, Hardware) and a clear explanation of the issue always helps the problem solvers help you, even if they don't end up solving the issue. Just think what you would need if you were solving someone else's problem. Additional: Always looking for eager and capable MacOS X developers to join the VLC team - for more information see here.

None

I can find no combination to get the video to come back on the original program instance.
Starting different Playlist items result in the same effect - audio, no video - just black screen.
Fullscreen, minimized, restored (havent tried manually resizing now that I think about it)

I have added a killall -KILL VLC to launchd to fire off 5 minutes after waking from sleep (everyday @ 8am), since my VLC is wrapped in a while loop
