Icon changes

Postby Wassif » 10 May 2006 19:16

Hello everyone,

I'm a newby here and my issue is that the first time I've installed VLC for Mac OSX, many icons that were from QuarkLicenceAdministratorServer, changed to the VLC's Icons Logo. (The original Icon was a plain white page with the upper right corner folded). I looked in the VLC-PREFERENCES for any clue but I had no clue what to do.

So my question is:
HOW TO TELL VLC TO CHANGE ONLY THE ICONS THAT BELONGS TO IT AND NOT TO BOTHER CHANGING OTHER ICONS?

Thank you

I had the same problem as soon as I installed VLC player for Windows XP. It changed all my audio/video file icons to the orange/white cone-even of those files it was not used by me to download, create or save. Is there a way to restore the
original icons of my files? If yes, please explain the step-by-step process. Thanks.
