I have video from an mxf file... but no sound playing on my VLC media player. Can anyone help me? I'm a new mac customer... using X system...version 10.5

I haven't received any messages... and I don't don't know what debugs are.
Everything seems to work well... except there's no sound. This is an mxf. file from a sony memory stick. Sony provides windows software, but nothing for the mac.
The file is produced by a Sony professional XD camera.
