10 seconds delay before the video plays
As the subject says.... - does anyone else have the same problem that when you open a movie file vlc player starts the movie after 10 seconds and stops the film in the end 10 seconds before it actually stops? And of course know what to do about it?

Does this occur for all video files? If not, what at the codecs etc. used.

Yes its the same with all movies.It starts with a black screen and the counter begins and then the movie appears after 10 seconds. I use the lates vlc player for mac. I don't know about the codec?
