how to stop display of "error messages"?

Postby psl924 » 04 Jun 2008 07:15

For VLC 8.6f PPC, OS 10.3.9, how do I get it to stop displaying the error messages that appear on startup of the app? The messages are "false positives" saying that the program didn't open because of some obscure error. Well, the program opens fine. I only use VLC for streaming internet radio. It's the stupid error messages that are the only irritant. I have not found anything in prefs yet to tell it to stop these. Thanks.

when the next error message pops up put a checkmark in the be quiet or W/E it says and press dismiss. in preferances make sure you have advanced checkmarked then start digging for anything that says be quiet (which will make the error messages go bye bye) then click on save.
