bug in .86e with subtitle colours not present in .86d

Hi there, I use yellow as my colour of choice for subtitles. I noticed in version .86e of VLC, that if you play a movie at say, large resolution, and then play a smaller movie, the yellow subtitles on the smaller movie are slightly mottled with white mixed in with the yellow.

With version .86d this behaviour does not occur, so this is some sort of graphics related regression, but I have no idea in what it could be.
