0.8.6 VLC Crashes When Quitting

Okay, I restored full compatibility for Mac OS X 10.3.9 for 0.8.6's last maintenance release. I'm going to post a link to a preview build here within the next couple of hours.

In fact, it took me a bit longer to restore my old build environment for complete 10.3.9 builds. I could have given you something limited, but I wanted you to have a complete build. It's being compiled here now. Gonna post the link tomorrow noon (CET) for sure

Heya, okay, there we go: http://jones.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/fpk/v ... encryp.dmg. The password is "panther". This build contains additional debug code. That's why, it's twice as large as and probably twice as slow as the final build, which is to be published within the next few weeks. Obviously, this pre-release build is suitable for PowerPC-based Macs only and may perform in unexpected ways on Intel-based Macs.

Note that this is going to be that last release for 10.3.9 ever. The forthcoming VLC 0.9.0 cannot be made 10.3.9-compatible in any case. Thus, please report any nasty glitch you encounter.

Now I use the latest VLC and it still crashes
macbook 2.0ghz 2gig leopard 10.5.2

Crashes when quitting watching a film.
Why cant this be fixed??

Please provide the crash log, otherwise I won't be able to fix this. VLC exits nicely for me when playing movies on 10.4 and above.
