VLC rtsp with QTSS

I am having inconsistent results using the latest VLC with the latest OSX Server QTSS.

Encoded with MacPro and QuickTime Broadcaster, h264 codec
rtsp://136.244.12.63/mc/h264-qtb-500k.sdp

Encoded with Mac Mini and Wirecast
mpeg4 Part 2 Simple Profile codec
rtsp://136.244.12.63/mc/mpeg4-220k.sdp

h264 codec.
rtsp://136.244.12.63/mc/h264-key300-500k.sdp

All with AAC audio. All the streams should work with QT Player.

On our LAN, VLC in Windows XP decodes all the above streams fine, and VLC on OSX 10.4.10 decodes MPEG4 fine.

However, with the h.264 codec and OSX 10.4.10
On PowerPC, video ok, audio breaks up in first stream sometimes, fine with third stream
On Intel Mac, video ok, audio fine on first stream, usually crashes on third stream
On MacBook Pro, crash on first and third stream.

Would like to hear about anyone else's results.
Does anyone know of any issues with VLC's Live555's implementation of rtsp support?
I am streaming over port 80 on QTSS.
