subtitles lag, late, after, delay

hey all, first i gota say thanks for lookn and i love this amazing app! blows quicktime outa the water.
i cant seem to find an option [in preferences] to speed up the subtitles. they are falling behind a second or two. does anyone know how it can be done?

You can time-shift subtitles very easily with Jubler [subs are displayed here again, don't know why they didn't].
this was in another post. so i put it here for all to see who have the same isue.
Jubler is a subtitle editor.

you don't need an editor, just look at the hotkeys shorcuts in VLC (should be j and k or something )
