QT 7.1.6 is wanting to update now, but after 7.1.5 I don't want to until I know it doesn't interfere with VLC 0.8.6 again. I had enough headaches.
Anyone know yet?
Thanks.I'm running OS X 10.3.9 with QT 7.1.5 and installed VLC 0.8.6b yesterday. I could start the application, but when I tried to play a movie, it crashed. Today I installed Apple's security update 4/2007 and QT 7.1.6, and now I can play a movie without a crash. The only remaining problem is a crash at exit.
Yes, it appeared to be a QuickTime problem of some sort.Thanks.I'm running OS X 10.3.9 with QT 7.1.5 and installed VLC 0.8.6b yesterday. I could start the application, but when I tried to play a movie, it crashed. Today I installed Apple's security update 4/2007 and QT 7.1.6, and now I can play a movie without a crash. So the first problem was related to QT, not to VLC.
About the exit bug, we are working on it.
