MPEG2 - Plays, but no video or sound. Help!

VLC plays this vid perfectly:

Video: MPEG2 Video 1280x720 59.94fps 38810Kbps [Video]
Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch 448Kbps [Audio]



But when trying MPEG2's with the following specs, all I get is the vid opening and the controller window pointing moving, like the vid IS playing, but with no picture OR sound:

Video: MPEG2 Video 1280x720 59.94fps 19000Kbps [Video]
Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch 448Kbps [Audio]


Any ideas? Or any ideas on what software and or codecs I need to use on my Mac to make these files work?
