VLM's telnet interface in VLC 0.9.3

Hi,

I read some time ago that with new VLC 0.9 releases the telnet interface to configure a VLM streaming service would be 'hidden' to the user and this service could be configured through a GUI. Now it is available through Tools > VLM Confguration menu but what I would like to know is if the VLM command line configuration is still the same or has changed.
