VLC from command line

Postby victorqed » 09 Nov 2007 15:02

How do I make vlc work if I don't have a graphical interface?
I receive the following error: "Error: Unable to initialize gtk, is DISPLAY set properly?".

vlc -Irc or vlc -Idummy would have worked too.
