VLM config file and multiple VLC instances

Hi all !
I woul like to use VLM via a configuration file in a way like this:
vlc -I telnet --vlm-conf=filename.txt
It work fine for me... but I do not know how to add commands to the same instance of VLC using a new config file.
I mean, for example, if I want to stop the video that I'm streaming via VLM how can I do that ?
If I try with a new config file a new instance of vlc start and it take no effect on the previous one.
Can anyone help me ?
Thanks in advance
Francesco
