How can I programmatically (say from Java) access the HTTP interface for VLM?

Are the various VLM functions accessible as URIs so that I can access them by typing the URI in a browser?

You can access VLM functions with the /requests/vlm.xml file. Check the source code for examples. Feel free to ask any other question you might have.
