I would like to translate this shell command in my VLM configuration file.

./grabdata /dev/video - | vlc --intf=dummy -

Is it possible?
What is the syntax to read datas outputed from a program?

That'd be kind of weird but should work if you pipe your input to vlc like you did and use "input -" or "input file://-" in VLM.
