Has anyone managed to stream FROM vlc TO something OTHER THAN vlc using RTSP? I can't get it to work.

I think there may be some problems with the way RTSP is implemented but I just wanted to ask before diving into the code.

I have had success streaming from VLC to IPTV set-top boxes (specifically Amino and Tilgin/I3 set-top boxes) through the RTSP interface.

I have managed to stream using RTSP to Quicktime 7 (but seeking isn't working) MP4 and 3GP content. RealPlayer doesn't work but I assume it's the same problem I described in viewtopic.php?t=19360

Have you got any details on how you got the streaming to work on the Amino set-top box?

I have the streaming working perfectly from vlc to vlc. But as soon as I try and pick up the stream on the Amino box, I get nothing but a blank screen.

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?

I have downloaded the patch developed by Robc, but is this patch for linux?, or how can i apply it in the windows version?, and where should i type the "type=VOD;servertype=MediaBase;src="", in the amino110? because actually i have black screen too in amino110 when i try to run the rtsp, thanks

I am having the same problem. I am using WIN32 VLC 0.8.6 nightly build and it still is not working with AMINO STBs.
