Need help to begin streaming at my school

Greetings VLC Knowledgable,
I hope this post finds you well.
I have been tasked with getting our school morningshow to stream locally on our school network.
We currently run it on a closed circuit loop that has electrical damage (lightning, surges, etc.)
I have an older Mac Pro 1.1 (Lion) donated (dual Xeon 3ghz, 5770 video card, Kona LHi capture card, SSD and 20gb RAM)
We have new Canon (HF R52) cameras as a source to plug in the capture card.
I am trying to figure out how I can live stream a 5-10 minute show daily to about 15 classroom each day.
Can I use VLC to get me from the Mac to the classrooms over a Gigabit wired network? And what that would look like.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Charles
