VLC - Start Capture Card Stream on Windows Boot!

Postby Cauptain » 18 May 2012 05:24

Hello all.

My name is Claudio and I know a old VLC user, but new in stream.

I spent much time looking for how to set my VLC to start with Windows stream my capture card.

I can make it work perfectly on Windows, but was wondering how do you run at startup. I tried all the methods described and not way to work.

If someone can help me, I shall be very grateful.

The parameters are these:
dshow-vdev=AVerMedia BDA Analog Capture :dshow-adev=Line-In (Creative SB X-Fi) :dshow-size=720x480 :dshow-caching=200 --:sout=#transcode{vcodec=mp2v,vb=8000,fps=30,scale=1,acodec=mpga,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=48000}:duplicate{dst=http{mux=ps,dst=:5000/},dst=display} :no-sout-rtp-sap :no-sout-standard-sap :ttl=1 :sout-keep

- My Windows is 7 Ultimate 64 bits.
- VLC installed path: C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe

Should I create a shortcut, service or script? What are parameters? Can you give me an example functional?

From already thank you.

Claudio
