error while loading the vlm conf file -> force

Postby ploeger » 29 Dec 2005 10:56

Hi there!

Perhaps someone can help me with that.

I've set up a script, that gathers all movies, that I have on my harddisk and makes a vlm-config-file of it. Basically this file contains a line for every movie I have. (That's 574 right now)

Like this:

new dire_straits_-_sultans_of_swing_live_very_rare_1978_1 vod input "/pub/movies/Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing Live Very Rare 1978 (1).mpeg" mux mp2t enabled output #transcode{vcodec=mp2v,acodec=mpga,vb=800,ab=128,deinterlace}

Is there perhaps some kind of restriction in loading this file? I'm asking, because vlc loads this file and generates streams from the movies, but after about 45 streams, I get the following error:

error while loading the vlm conf file

(though I'm aware, that this isn't the real error, but I can't seem to figure it out in the debug-output (-vvv))

The thing is, that if I delete this file, it happens with some other file. And when I try to stream only this file, it is streamed well.

Now I have two questions:

1. Can somebody help me point out the error?
2. Can I force vlc, to go on reading the vlm-configuration file, even if one file is broken?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
Dennis
