VLM Configurator is broken

VLC just ignores the Configurator's settings. Is this something that is known to be broken in the Windows version of VLC? Please help. I know I can do the same stuff such as VOD (but with LOTS more difficulty) in the command line. But the advantage of a GUI interface called the VLM Configurator is that I am SUPPOSED TO be able to accomplish these complicated tasks very easily using this interface. Please help.

Not a bug. The whole VLM Configurator GUI is completely broken. All the settings I put into it are not honored by the program. But those SAME SETTINGS if put in through the command line ARE HONORED by the program. The VLM Configurator is SIMPLY BROKEN!!!!! (at least in the Windows version of VLC player, not sure about Linux or Mac versions)

It's like when the devs made the Windows version of VLC they made the VLM Configurator dialog boxes BUT PUT NO CODE INTO THE "click" EVENTS OF ANY OF THE BUTTONS SO THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING!
