HOWto define specific stream in VLM

Postby dutch_boontje » 27 Aug 2008 14:17

Hi,

I am using VLC for a few years now.
But still I can not find good examples for my specific usage(s).
.. searching on the internet does not give many solutions
So, I thought I just start an new topic.

I use VLC (VLM) for streaming a lot of different sources.
eq. DVB-T/S/C cards, icecast2, harddisc..

This all will be combined in kind of mass product for multiple kinds of streaming of media.

Well, this was the intro :)

Following up's will be posted soon.

Hi,

Following up in HOWto ??

A specific issue:
On harddisc I have TS-streams with included 2x audio track, 3x subtitle.

When this will be streamed, using VLM output cmd:
output #standard{mux=ts,access=udp,dst=239.255.228.3:1234}

The multicasted stream is good usable to display.
UNfortunaly, only 1x audio track and 1x subtitle is left over

HOWto keep all audio tracks and subtitles in the stream ???
