Postby PavelUK » 17 May 2007 15:16

Hi mates,

Ive got big problem with VLC. Please tell me where can I set time when I want to finish recording of stream ? Best way will be some parametr for command line. I am running VLC on Windows. I hope there is some paramter, because if not then I thing that developers should make some more work on it.

Hello,
admin: please remove the spam above.

You can easily use http interface. Create BROADCAST element (eg BBC1) and create 2 time points (start time and stop time). Associate an action PLAY "your broadcast element" with the start time point and STOP "your.." with the stop time point.
See VLC man or wiki for more info.
