help help
good morning,
i would ask...
i have a web site, in this web site i have an asx file, with some wmv files, i embeded windows player in my index, and when users go in, the asx file autostart and they see the content. The problem is that asx file start always from the same point, allowshuffle i tryed do not work. So i read about publishing point and streaming server. So it is possible and how with videolan streaming server order this asx file in a way that it play in this manner:
When users connect to a playlist through a broadcast publishing point, they receive the stream exactly as dictated by the playlist and have no control over the playback other than to start and stop the stream. Similar to a radio or television broadcast, when users stop a stream from a broadcast publishing point, the stream on the broadcast publishing point continues. When the user clicks Play to resume playback, his player synchronizes with the content that is currently playing, regardless of the point at which the user stopped it.

But i do not understand, if i use videolan streaming server on my local pc, when i turn off it...? so i have to upload videolan s.s. on my web server domain?, ... and in this case what command i have to use for to run continuously the asx file like above description?
please give me much much light.
Thank you very much!
wa. :?:
