The VideoLAN Forums

Out of the 20+ forums that I have visited over the 11 years on the Internet, I have never encountered one that needed approval with each and every post. While I understand 'policing' a forum, don't you think this is a bit much?

Ok, after posting this, the entry appeared immediately without approval. So, can I then assume it is only the first four posts (since this was #5) that are screened??

I saw no mention of this in the 'Rules' anywhere. If so, that is another story, though it would be nice if some mention of this was made since I never encountered this before.
