Another official website or leech/trojan VLC?

on a website i'd seen an advertisment for VLC (download VLC plugin) but when i'd clicked i was directed on this website :

i think it's a leech, or possibly trojan link, but maybe you have already known of this website

Because I found a german site, which presents the downloads.

I were a little confused. A german portal to get the german version, but the player is already in german if I install it.
