Still wrong dates in RSS feed after 2 years
Posted: 10 Oct 2009 15:43
Problem with RSS feed http://www.videolan.org/videolan-news.rss; the same one I reported 2 years ago viewtopic.php?f=10&t=41024&start=0 - The dates of the entries are incorrect (3 years back) in some news readers, but correct in other ones.
Even though dates look well formed, like for today's top entry they might be badly interpreted due to the warning (namespace prefix) above.
Since I use Google Reader most of the time, I'd be grateful for your squashing this bug for good!
- Google Reader: current entries shown with dates 3 years back.
- Bloglines.com: only very old entries from 2006 and earlier.
- Firefox Live Bookmarks: current entries with correct dates.
- Yahoo: current entries with correct dates.

This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.
