I can't post! How's this possible?

edit: This is strange! I wanted to post in "VLC for windows" And it didn't work!

Maybe I use illegal characters?

This is what I wanted to post:

On The Fly Cropping: Video Overlay support

Hi There!

Fist of all, I want to say I'm very happy with your player and that I'm delighted to see developers are busy busy busy!

I would like the on-the fly cropping feature to support video overlay, so I can see the effect of the cropping on my television.
I'm using a GForce 5200 FX, with a composite cable to my television. (windows XP SP2)

Usually, when I know a video needs cropping, I use the option in "filters" to crop an image. This works well, but can't be done using a remote control...

When testing the on-the-fly crop function using standard hotkeys that I binded with my remote control, I can't see the effect on the television, just the uncropped image...

CRT Monitor
Using preferences -> crop -> WORKS (OSD gets cropped too)
on-the-fly crop using hotkeys -> WORKS (OSD doesn't get cropped :) )

Composite cable -> CRT TV
Using preferences -> crop -> WORKS (OSD gets cropped too)
on-the-fly crop using hotkeys -> NO EFFECT

Is this a feature that you are aware of being missing? Is it easy to fix/implement? I sure hope so!

Keep up the good work on your excellent player!

Greetings,
jmk
