I was wondering why the news.txt file included in the nightlies isn't published separately. This would facilitate users reading the news.txt file for updates in the nightly, and if there aren't any, they wouldn't download a nightly simply to waste bandwidth.
Are there always changes in published nightlies, and the news.txt isn't always changed (or the changes aren't something to mention in the news.txt)?
Example: I download a nightly, and the header of the news.txt is five days old, and no changes have been added to the current version's changelist in the file. I would assume this means the nightly of the header of the news.txt is the most recently changed code?
Thanks,
