Needed: edit to add "[SOLVED]" (for example)

I beiieve that phpBB can be set up to allow logged-in users to edit their thread starters. Can this please be turned on so that we can add "[SOLVED]" or "[ANSWERED]" or "[RESOLVED]" or other such topical header? That would really help other users and it would ultimately help developers.
